Some customers choose to remove them to extract additional performance beyond a Stage 1 remap, or to enhance exhaust tone and sound. In most cases however, customers come to us due to an existing fault, blockage or failure with their DPF or GPF — avoiding what can often be a very costly replacement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eOur solution disables the DPF or GPF entirely within the ECU software. This removes all related fault codes, stops the ECU from attempting regeneration cycles, and eliminates any associated power restrictions or warning lights.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note\u003c\/strong\u003e — this is a 2 part process. The physical DPF or GPF must be removed from the vehicle right after our remap.
