TERMS OF SERVICE

1. General

By booking any service with Apex Remap you agree to the following terms and conditions in full. Apex Remap reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.

2. Bookings & Appointments

All bookings are subject to confirmation. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Apex Remap via email or message. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances including adverse weather conditions. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date.

3. Vehicle Access & Condition

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is accessible, in a safe location, and in a suitable condition for work to be carried out at the time of the appointment. The vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition prior to any service being performed. Apex Remap reserves the right to refuse to carry out any service on a vehicle deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

4. Pre-Service Requirements

Certain services require preparation prior to the appointment:

  • DPF/GPF Solution — The DPF or GPF must be physically removed from the vehicle prior to the appointment. Apex Remap does not offer a physical removal service.
  • EGR Solution — The EGR valve must be physically blanked prior to the appointment. Apex Remap does not offer a physical blanking service.
  • Failure to complete required pre-service work will result in the appointment being cancelled. A cancellation fee may apply.

5. Off-Road & Emissions Services

The following services are strictly for off-road, motorsport and permanent export vehicles only and must not be used on vehicles driven on public roads in Great Britain:

  • DPF / GPF Solution
  • EGR Solution
  • AdBlue Solution
  • DTC Disable

By booking any of the above services, the customer confirms and agrees that:

  • The vehicle will not be used on public roads in Great Britain following the modification
  • The service will be carried out on private land via our mobile service, or the vehicle will be trailered to and from the location
  • Apex Remap accepts no liability for any legal consequences arising from the use of a modified vehicle on public roads

6. Pops & Bangs

This service is available for petrol vehicles with a catless exhaust system only. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm their vehicle meets these requirements prior to booking. Apex Remap accepts no liability if the modification does not produce the expected results on vehicles not meeting these requirements.

7. Results & Guarantees

All tuning files used by Apex Remap are supplied through the MET tuning network and are dyno tested and proven. While every effort is made to achieve the best possible results, power gains and performance improvements will vary depending on vehicle condition, age, mileage and maintenance history. Apex Remap cannot guarantee specific power figures as individual vehicle results may vary.

8. Liability

Apex Remap will not be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing faults or mechanical issues discovered during or after a service
  • Any faults arising from modifications carried out by third parties prior to or following our service
  • Any damage caused by a vehicle not being in a roadworthy or suitable condition at the time of the appointment
  • Any legal consequences arising from the use of emissions-modified vehicles on public roads

Apex Remap is fully insured. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service carried out.

9. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Apex Remap accepts bank transfer and card payment. No work will be carried out without agreement on payment method prior to the appointment.

10. Cancellations

We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Apex Remap reserves the right to charge up to 50% of the agreed service cost for late cancellations or no-shows.

11. Complaints

Any complaints must be raised within 48 hours of the service being completed. We will always aim to resolve any issues fairly and promptly. Please contact us at info@apexremap.co.uk.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
