Pops and bangs, also known as a crackle map or decel map, is one of the most popular and exciting ECU modifications available. By modifying the fuel and ignition parameters within the ECU, we can create that aggressive popping, crackling and banging sound on gear changes and deceleration that you hear on high performance and motorsport vehicles.

The result is a car that sounds completely transformed — more aggressive, more exciting, and far more characterful — all without touching the exhaust system. No hardware changes, no new parts, just a software modification to your ECU.

Please note — this service is for petrol vehicles only. Pops and bangs is not compatible with diesel engines.

This service also requires a catless exhaust system. The modification will not produce the desired effect through a standard catalytic converter. Please ensure your vehicle has a decat or catless exhaust fitted prior to your appointment.
