Cold start noise is a common complaint on many modern petrol vehicles. When an engine is started from cold, the ECU runs a specific programme designed to warm the engine up quickly — this often results in a rough, noisy idle, increased revs, and sometimes an unpleasant exhaust note during the warm-up period. While this is normal behaviour, many drivers find it intrusive, particularly early in the morning or in residential areas.

Our cold start removal solution modifies the ECU software to smooth out or eliminate this cold start programme entirely — resulting in a quieter, cleaner start from the moment you turn the key, regardless of engine temperature.
